Following four racing drivers, we get an exclusive insight into what it takes to be a beginner in the Porsche Club Motorsport Boxster Cup.

Meet Darren King, proud Boltonian, Dad, Porsche Garage Owner, Boxster Cup Racer. After competing in his first ever race series in 2022, and finishing fourth in the final championship standings, he had a year out in 2023. Now King is back and feeling more competitive than ever. In the first round of the Porsche Club Motorsport Boxster Cup we visit Donington Park with the Unique Racing team, and we see the story begin to unfold on how much it takes to get your race car on the track.

In the second round of the Porsche Club Motorsport Boxster Cup we visit Brands Hatch with the Unique Racing team, as we follow Wayne Gregory and Darren King fight for trophies.

Mike Thompson has been into racing since he can remember, and now in the hot seat racing for Porsche centre Bolton he finds himself in desperate need to pick up some points in the championship after an unfortunate start to the season. In the third round of the Porsche Club Motorsport Boxster Cup we visit Mike Thompson and Darren King’s ‘local’ circuit – Oulton Park as they race neck and neck, both qualifying on the front row of the grid.

Sarah Thomson was brought up on a small farm near West Linton in the Scottish Borders where she learned to drive in an old Land Rover. As a regular visitor to Goodwood, she would charm her way into the paddock to get close to the race cars in the hope someone would let her get behind the wheel. Despite her challenges, Sarah competes for her first Podium as we visit Anglesey in the fourth race weekend of the Porsche Club Motorsport Boxster Cup in 2024.
